Greetings!

Letters From Noah embraces the joy of handmade correspondence from a traveling friend.

Created for readers interested in learning about the world, each letter carries a little wonder from across the globe.

How It Works

Every month, you'll receive an illustrated letter from me featuring a unique destination.

Each letter is an exciting adventure - whether roasting in the Sahara, scrambling around the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu, or searching for birds-of-paradise in New Guinea.

It's all true, too: I really do travel to each place, and write and illustrate these letters myself (no AI).

What To Expect

Some letters visit famous landmarks. Others venture to remote, mysterious, and little-known hideaways. The world is endlessly fascinating, and you'll explore somewhere new every month.

The artwork - including hand-drawn maps, watercolors, and stamps - is professionally reproduced and printed on thick, textured paper.

Feel free to write back! My address is on every envelope, and I'd love to hear from you.

Who Likes Getting Letters In The Mail?

You're not alone! Here are a few notes I've received from readers like you.

"My wife and I look forward to your letters. Your watercolors are fantastic. I am envious, not being able to draw a lick! We hang them on our refrigerator doors. It would be fun to travel with you, but getting your mail and watercolors is the next best thing."

***

"These letters are fantastic! I have been sharing them with my friend too. They are full of such amazing tales, excellent information and the artwork is so gorgeous. We are living vicariously through your shared adventures since you are going to places we probably will not get to. Looking forward to the next installment. It is so much fun to anticipate where you will be next!"

***

"My wife and I are enjoying your monthly letters. My wife also paints in watercolor. We have driven through the Red woods, but did not know of the trails you took. Thanks for the knowledge!"

***

"I'm so glad I signed up for these letters. I love getting snail mail. I nearly jumped through the roof when I saw you'd been to Quebec City, because I'm actively planning a trip there for late September/early October!"

***

"Just wanted to say that I'm loving the letters already. Learning about a new place every month is so exciting. I look forward to the next adventure! Thank you for sharing your views of the world!"

***

"I was given Letters From Noah for my birthday in late Dec. Thank you for the interesting, enthusiastic information and insights! I also enjoy the drawings, stamps, photo ... really fun!"

"I wish I could be a little mouse and travel along in Noah's pocket. The last letter was fascinating. What amazing places you get to see!!"

***

"I love receiving these dispatches from around the globe. A thoughtful subscription from my husband. What fun armchair travelling!"

***

"My daughter totally suprised me with the subscription to the Letters From Noah. I have always enjoyed traveling, and it is doubly enjoyable when you can kick you shoes off lay back and read about exotic places and let your imagination roam. I enjoyed the artwork as well,I must say that you are multi Talented. Thank you for a most fascinating travelogue. Looking forward to your next letter."

***

"I am enjoying your travel notes, particularly the colored drawings. So fun. My grandson is only a year old, but I am keeping the letters for him as I think any youth through old age would enjoy these. When I was growing up I had a Look and Learn book that was part of a series. It was the only one I had but I pored over this book. I just loved it. This is how I feel about your letters."

***

"Your letters are the next best thing to being there. Loved the illustrations. I'm grateful to my nephew for giving you my name and address."

***

"My dear friend sent me a subscription to your letters knowing I'd love it. We've stood in some of the same places you've written about - and had totally different experiences/observations. So your view(s) has been greatly enjoyed."

"I wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying your letters and so is my step-daughter in California. We look forward to the beginning of each month. After we both read the latest one we do a book club type discussion on the phone. We especially love the drawings."

***

"I am enjoying these letters with the illustrations. I feel so lucky my daughter gifted me with them. Keep traveling and writing!"

***

"I have been enjoying the travel escapades around the globe, as have my wife and a few select others. I often talk you up to friends who are considering travel to locals you have frequented. Your redwoods note has prompted my friend and I to return there in the fall if we can arrange it."

***

"Thank you so much for this letter. In times like these, it is a pleasure to travel vicariously."

***

"I re-read your letters from time-to-time. I marveled at your May letter this morning which describes your adventures in Borneo. You have, on top of being a skilled artist, a way of using words to paint pictures in the mind's eye. Vicariously traveling the globe with you is a great boon. I am eagerly anticipating your next letter."

***

"What a coincidence! You went to Machu Picchu around the time I was giving my presentation (PowerPoint), Machu Picchu & the Galapagos: An Armchair Tour , here at my old folks home! Thank you for your great travel letters. I really enjoy getting them."
